Dorsey was recently profiled on 60 Minutes and will be in town next week for the Clinton Global Initiative event at Washington University.
And while he’s here he’s going to show up at MA Tech Services, the company owned by his father Tim Dorsey, to celebrate the installation of a 25,000 watt solar-energy system that will help power the Soulard-based company. MA Tech Services sells and services mass spectrometers for gas analysis.
The solar system was installed by St. Louis-based solar development firm Brightergy, which sent out a press release this morning.
“Growing up in St. Louis, Jack was inspired in part by his entrepreneur father, Tim Dorsey, who owns MA Tech Services in downtown St. Louis,” the statement said. “Together they’ll celebrate the addition of clean energy to MA Tech Services’ headquarters, along with Brightergy, the company who installed the solar-energy system.”
