Brightergy LLC is adding some formidable experience to its executive team.
The Kansas City energy company brought in Paul Snider, formerly with Kansas City Power & Light Co., and Robert Shanklin, formerly with St. Louis-based coal producerArch Coal Inc. (NYSE: ACI), to add broader energy industry experience to the maturing company’s executive staff. Snider, who led KCP&L’s governmental affairs department, now leads governmental affairs for Brightergy as its vice president of policy and government affairs. Shanklin, who has 20 years of experience in the industry, oversees Brightergy’s operations group as the executive vice president.
