At the inaugural ImpacT Awards, hosted by the Kansas City Business Journal, Western Extralite Co. won in the category of Environmental Impact. Nominated by Brightergy, they were presented with their award at a luncheon Friday, November 11.
Western Extralite is one of Brightergy’s first clients to install solar panels on 6 different locations. Each building has a 25kW system. “We believe that we’re going to save, this first year, in excess of $30,000 in energy,” said John Isenberg, Western Extralite executive vice president.
Western Extralite also built their new service center in Lawrence to LEED standards. Our congratulations to a well-deserving company.
