A deal that will help Kansas City become one of the most solar-powered cities by the end of the year also marked the largest transaction to date for Brightergy LLC.
The Kansas City-based solar firm had worked with municipalities before, but not to the scale of the deal valued at $3.2 million with the city, teaching the management team some lessons.
