2003

Lots of great companies started in a garage. Our garage was in St. Louis.

In 2003, the Energy Savings Store opened as a two-person operation in a St. Louis garage to bring solar power to area homes and business.

2010

Rebirth as Brightergy

Entrepreneur and KC native Adam Blake met TESS’s Ryan Gardner for lunch in July 2010. Their shared ideas led to the deal that formed Brightergy.

2011

Becoming the most experienced commercial solar company in the US

Since 2011, Brightergy has completed more than 1,200 commercial solar projects, making us one of the most experienced commercial solar companies in the US., driving a vision for a Brightergy that offered more than just solar power and more than just solutions.
