The solar industry is relatively young but growing exponentially. In fact, solar was the fastest growing industry in 2010! With this incredible growth comes opportunity to help shape pro renewable energy policy and promote our industry. Lets face it, solar is up against some tough competition that want to see solar fail. Oil & gas, coal, and utility companies spend enormous amounts of money employing lobbyists and public relation firms to promote their industry.

Brightegy is an advocate in many different ways for policies that promote the long-term viability of the solar industry. Our employees regularly speak at various industry events and volunteer a significant amount of time educating the public about solar. Susan Brown leads our external affairs department and helps facilitate various initiatives to promote solar.
