ENTRY DEADLINE: March 31, 2013
Brightergy is hosting a contest to find out whose roof is in the most need of a cover-up. We’ll be giving away one free solar energy system to the local business that enters and wins our Naked Roof Contest.
PRIZE:
An installed rooftop solar energy system, including parts, equipment and labor, plus promotion of your business in our advertising. The total approximate retail value of the prize is $115,000 — not including the value of the energy created by the system over its lifetime.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
- Photo of your naked roof with caption
- Original essay response to “Why do you want to cover your naked roof with a Brightergy solar energy system?” (200 words or less)
- Sign a no contingencies contract for the purchase of a Brightergy Solar Panel System
CONTEST JUDGING:
Photos and accompanying captions will be judged by a panel of experts using the following criteria and weighting:
- Creativity (1/3)
- Appearance (1/3)
- Appropriateness and public appeal (1/3)
Essays will be judged separately, using the same criteria and weighting. The scores from each will then be combined to determine the entry with the highest overall score.
