Solar Installer
Position: Solar Installer
Brightergy is looking for applicants to install commercial and residential grid-tied solar PV systems. This position will provide support to the crew leader of the installation team and be a team player. All of our installers are responsible for following Brightergy’s safety guidelines and professional work practices.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for correct and accurate installation of solar panels and equipment for both residential and commercial installations
- Pulling inventory for each project
- Mechanical and structural mounting of racking, modules, and electrical equipment
- Electrical wiring of the solar array
- Clean up job site
- Participate in mandatory training and safety sessions
Requirements:
- Minimum of a high school diploma
- Basic understanding of electrical wiring
- Experience working on a roof
- Experience using hand-held power tools
- Ability to work in extreme environments: Ie. hot sun, steep roofs, etc.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs
- Safe driving record
- Pass a background check and drug screening
